Still here in the same place

I noted in September that I was working on catching up on inventory data entry. Reporting in on November 2nd to say I am still not caught up but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Of course, I kept buying many things in the last two months since my post, so of course the pages kept adding up. But now I am at those pages, so it feels like I have made progress.

I also got all 3 estimates for the roof so now I need to make a decision.

Have a dermatologist appointment (looking for more cancer moles, ugh) and a color/haircut this week. Maybe I should make a pedicure appointment too, so I hit all the beauty stops.

The maples in the backyard have finally turned color, and all I do is goggle at their gorgeous explosion of color.

Still fat as fuck. Waiting for my Wegovy prescription to work its way through the insurance approval process. Would rather wait and have to pay nothing than make waves. My sister is on it now and is having the same terrible gastro issues I did on Zepbound. She had to take days off from work last week it was so bad, and as a teacher she really can't do that often. So that makes me nervous.

I miss my parents a lot. Lather, rinse, and repeat.

Congrats on your inventory strides. I imagine you're heading for caught up by the time the first snow falls (unless it stresses you out to have that deadline; you move it where you need to).

Goal is to have it done before Thanksgiving, then do the second phase of matching up sold inventory to current inventory in December. It needs to be done before tax time, but my goal is to have it complete by the end of the year. I really, really, want to get current so I am entering in new stuff in real time and not months and months later.

Sounds like you are making your way steadily down several lists. Way to go! I still have made no progress on my house. Did go on a nice hike, though, so I suppose that’s something.

Yes I am trying to juggle several different types of projects so I literally have multiple lists: daily housekeeping, home improvement, booth sourcing and refreshing, booth inventory paperwork, personal care, family finances, and still some lingering estate issues. Plus, all the grieving.

I find when I’m under stress and grief like that, lists are my only way through. Forgetfulness abounds. Which, on occasion, has meant showing up to work in my house slippers. Aargh.

Every year when the maple trees turn color, it's like I've never seen that happen before. I'm always astounded at how beautiful they are. You just reminded me I need to go up to the Japanese garden at Descanso, which has some beautiful trees.

OMG have you seen any of my pics on IG? I tossed a bunch in stories but I think I did a post or two too. The Japanese maple is honestly almost more beautiful than the autumn blaze maple. It's so brilliant this year, my jaw is on the ground every time I go outside.
